I have travelled to Tokyo on several occasions, but as a life-long resident of Canberra I can say that Tasuke is the most genuine and true to experience as you can find for a Japanese Restaurant. Less formal than some of the other Japanese restaurants located nearby, but the food is fantastic and the atmosphere takes me straight back to the streets of Tokyo. Try it if you want to know what its like to eat great food like a Tokyo local.
Sitting in the very empty restaurant you can here the microwave whirring. *BING BING* next meal is ready! The microwave works so hard dealing out meal after meal at this restaurant. Not bad food but definitely not fresh. Quite expensive considering and many other Japanese restaurants I would recognise over this one.
Have eaten here numerous times. Food is always delicious. Service is prompt and everyone from the waiting staff to the cooks are nothing but super friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant
To be fair, the food is decent but it feels slightly overpriced. And there is seriously room for improvement on the service even though the place is usually empty.
Decently proportioned ramen noodle soups. A friend ordered a gyoza and said it was too dry so it could be hit and miss depending on what you are ordering.

Poor quality food and yet expensive prices. Would not return. The unagi don has only 5 pieces and the ramen soup is tasteless. Only taste of soy sauce.
Fresh, consistent, authentic, cosy. Eat there several times a month and it never disappoints.
i LOVE tasuke, i went there for my birthday and it was the best. Greatest ramen ever.
Favourite Ramen in town!
