The owner/manager of Delhi 6 was the rudest and most arrogant person I have ever met. He was literally yelling at me when I tried to order a lunch takeaway! Can you believe that? I was left shocked and speechless! If you want to be verbally abused, go ahead and try Delhi 6 out. It’s gotta be the most unforgettable restaurant nightmare you will ever have! Also, if you heard how he talked to his “servants”, you might mistake him for a modern day slave owner. I wonder why staff there could put off with this?! There is no place for garbage like this in Australia! Their curries are so watery and disgusting. I almost vomited and had to throw it out.
I got a hectic alot of rice and flavoured(not great) water with bones!! even the meat had run off the bones!!!!There was No customers at the tuggeranong site, should have been a dead give away, however, I really felt like a curry. I asked for the Goat curry and the man said with rice, I asked him how much without rice and he said "$10.00 with rice and $21.00 without rice. I said not too much rice and he put it 3/4 rice and 1/4 curry which was water and bones!!!! I know goat curry has lots of bones, this was a wate of money!!! and the effort. wanted to book an event there not any more.!!!! Your business is a fair dikum rip off.
This restaurant has been a biggest disappointment so far we were there for my sons birthday and had to wait for an hour and a half for the order to be served with not a single apology from the miserable staff .. Thinking this was a one off incident we placed an order for home delivery today and after an hour and a half when we call the restaurant we are told it will take another 15 minutes and a great response from the staff stating we can CANCEL the order and expect a refund in a few days ... Hopeless ... Never going there or ordering from them again ...
Unfriendly and uninterested service. Overpriced rice and sides. We had four people arriving a bit later than the rest of our party (18 total) and they were told they could not sit down and eat with the rest of us unless they ordered one curry EACH. We should have just gotten up and left at that point, and of course we had a large amount of food left over. Will not be eating there again, it seems like the manager is keen to tank the reputation of this restaurant with his policies.
This 1 star is only for the naan and wine which we ordered. Starting from the entree, raw cauliflower in the cauliflower machurian, uncooked chicken in chicken 65. Dal with no spice(hot), chicken korma was so bad that i was able to eat only one spoon of it . The worst item from all this was the mango lassi. We were the only customer sitting inthe restaurant and it took 50 min to get our mains on the table. One of the worst expirence.
I been to this restaurant recently to dine in (evening). The hospitality of the staff was exceptional. Not to mention about the food because it was delicious. It seems that there was a change in management, the new management was doing it very well. There was a worm reception when we entered the restaurant and a nice send off when we left the restaurant. Overall a feel good experience. Will visit it again.
Spent $50 on two curries and two naans, and it took over an hour for them to deliver it from 650m down the road. When I was ordering, they failed to tell me that rice is not complimentary with curries, so when it arrived, I had a few bits of chicken in some sauce and that was about it. Both curries were just luke warm. Absolute waste of money, and definitely would not recommend it to any one!

You must visit this restaurant once to feel something different. Yes! This restaurant is really unique among the rest.
Either they think on one knows how to cook or they think when you are hungry you eat whetever we get. I ordered chilli chicken I found that the chicken was prepared for someother dish and fried it with cornflour to cover the other masala. Will never go back and will never recommend to anyone. Manager thinks we need to pay for him to smile.
If you want to enjoy an unhurried lunch in Canberra then you must try this Indian restaurant for sure. From North Indian food to South Indian dishes, you will get all at reasonable prices. You can try their Thalis if you want a combo meal. The service is pretty satisfactory. So, you can definitely give it a try this weekend!
A very Below Average Restaurant with very high Prices. Chicken used in Briyani felt like it was used from leftovers and so many small bones nearly took off my tooth. Curries were full of oil and meat was not tender at all. Naans were half cooked. They should close this place. Please people dont waste your money on Delhi 6.
Ordered delivery on a Tuesday night, food eventually got delivered after 1 hour 45 minutes. Naan was soggy and no longer hot, rice undercooked, food pretty meh overall. I asked the staff about the wait time and they said they prioritised eat-in diners, with no explanation why that was a good justification, and no apology.
This restaurant is a brand itself. Sumptuous meals, nice ambience and friendly service… a perfect combination which we all look for when we visit any restaurant. The food is finely cooked to give them the real Indian tang and colour. I love their naans and mutton items. Simply awesome!
Ordered an Express Takeaway Lunchbox of butter chicken. Took 30 minutes. They lost my order although I was right there and people were coming and going as I sat there. When I did get it, it was about four pieces of chicken floating in watery sauce. No apologies for the wait.

Delhi 6 has opened a Cafe in Hyperdome in Tuggeranong. It is as awesome as the restaurant in the city. The food is very good quality. I can see they use very fresh meat and vegetables. The burgers, muffins and pies were also good. Highly recommended.
