This has been described as "fine dining" in a few mainstream blogs, and it certainly is not that. Thankfully, neither are the prices. This is not cheap and cheerful Japanese, it is thoughtfully done, beautiful and delicious, and great value for money for middle of the road prices; the degustations in particular. The service is warm and attentive. The outside area has a fantastic westerly aspect for a quiet afternoon drink above busy Braddon. There are a few rough edges but this place has a great character and is well worth a visit!
Nice food but unfortunately slow service, other tables had arrived, been served, and left in the time were here. A bit disappointing.
Food takes a while. Appetizers really good but mains a bit average. Still pretty well cooked but nothing real special for the price.
Wonderful authentic Japanese cuisine, had our lunch on Saturday, staff are nice and helpful, will be back definitely.
Food was absolutely fantastic. Good value and great service. Highly recommend chaki chaki. A wonderful experience.
Quality cuts of fish in the sashimi. Enjoyed the dumplings and potato croquettes. Nice atmosphere friendly staff.
Great atmosphere, wonderful food and fantastic customer service. Definitely would eat here again and recommemd
Lovely warm place for lunch or dinner. Pork broth is very very good. Kids love the BBQ chicken and rice.
Food was good but way over priced. A 10piece plate of sushi was $60. Rip off
Very nice food and good service. Best Japanese I have been to in Canberra.
Great taste, but the service really makes this place quite special.
Restricted menu and ridiculously overpriced. Will not return
Love their tuna and sea urchin sushi, great service.
Good food. Felt as though they were under- staffed
Excellent food. The ramen was especially good
Good Japanese food if a little pricey.
food is ok, reasonable price
Excellent food and service.
Average, a bit pricy
Ok i suppose.
