Great burgers! We came for an early lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. Staff were friendly and straight up advised about a twenty minute wait which was appreciated. Whilst there was a wait there was a variety of games available to play, plus the sun was out so absorbing the sunshine was our game. We opted for a Brodburger and a Single Cheeseburger. We added haloumi to the burger. When they arrived they were of a good size. Our shoestring fries were cooked golden and the batter on the onion rings were light and fluffy. Both burgers tasted awesome, soft rolls, crispy brown haloumi and perfectly melted cheese. Would stop into Canberra again for another taste
Been visiting Brodburger for year since it was a caravan by the lake. It was the best burger we had eaten in Canberra for almost 8 years & we recommended it to everyone. Just visited again on weekend & 4 out of 8 of us experienced the same. Quality had dropped. Burgers were very salty & 4 of us couldnt finish our burgers due to level of salt in burgers. I normally eat 2-3 burgers everytime I go so not to be able to finish one means quality was bad. I hope it was just a one off incident due to management not being there on day or else I would have to say the place is shell of its former self. Sorry guys, but I have to be honest
What a full on place!!! The burgers are good and very filling. If you are only going for the food, then its the place to be. However the wait for the food is what kills you, as well as finding a place to sit. I guess if a place is popular it tends to get that way. This place would certainly benefit from an expansion. Although I like the food, the wait discourages me. I would probably go back, but not for a dine in.
I have been here four times, but only managed to eat once as the wait time is always over an hour from 1200 on. Fourth time ordered ahead. I had the lamb burger and it was very good, which made me happy because it is hard to get a good lamb burger around Canberra. Would revisit but plan ahead or be prepared to wait. Not their fault just popular.
My mouth totally waters in expectation of the flavours oozing from this burger. Im heading out that way this week and sure hoping to find this outlet of delicous and real yummy cheese loaded and juicy burger and cant wait to get my fill Please be just the like the picture or very close to it
The steak burger was awful, cold chips. Fish & chips was so oily chips cold. Calamari was so oily. Never will we go again. And McDonalds create your own are better burger, and you get hot chips.last time went was better but now no more. The owners had a good business but now it the worse now.
Burgers are great. Never try to eat there though; order an hour ahead and take your food elsewhere. Unfortunately, while the chips were once great, recently they just leave them in bags to get disgustingly soggy while the rest of the order is filled, which is a really poor way to operate.
Pretty good burger, good size, ok everything else. Lost a star because they have no sauces....??? ... a burger bar with no tabasco or mayo or anything other than tomato you have to ask behind the counter for. When your paying that much for a burger id expect some condiments.
Deluxe burger both meat patties were uncooked, when staff were informed of this their answer: we always serve them like that!!!! Would you like some chips instead? 1hour wait for a $22 uncooked burger.... No recommendation from me other than to steer clear of this place...
Amazing place, friendly staff, awesome burgers. Be prepared to wait up to 40 minutes from time of order. Best to order online from their website. Shakes available $5.50, but not on menu: Vanilla, strawberry, chocolate or caramel.
Very good burger composition, however the burger was slightly overcooked and dry. For a 45 minute wait we expected a better cooked burger. Brodburger seems to have gone a bit downhill compared to last time I visited 7 years ago.
Excellent burgers but hopelessly slow. Brodburger always has a long wait time for a burger, often extending out to an hour. On my visit, the wait was 52 minutes. And it has been this way since they opened. Get a better system!
Large burgers that were very filling but came to about 60 bucks for 2 burgers 1 fries and 2 drinks. Wait time was 40 mins so make sure you dont have anything to do after. Maybe have a meal deal or something. Sauce was tasty.
Amazing burgers just make sure you phone up and order ahead! Otherwise be prepared to wait up to 45 minutes for your food. Great vegetarian burger with haloumi cheese. A Canberra institution and must do for visitors.
Me and a friend both ordered a deluxe burger from here. We enjoyed our burgers immensely however later that day we both thew up because we had realised our bacon was not cooked properly. I will never go there again.
Burgers are amazing, too bad that fries are not included in the price of the burger. Sometimes wait times can become a bit insane, but thats not because they are slow, its about that they have soo many customers
Amazing burgers, reasonable chips and quick service. They told us it would be 20 minutes and the food arrived in 10! Staff were friendly, the tables outside were great and the place had a nice casual atmosphere.
Cold chips, cold burger had to wait 45 minutes for food. The burger only tastes good because you need to wait so long for food. Not enough indoor seating. Every time I leave wondering why I even bother coming.
Excellent burgers - chargrilled, smokey flavour. Got the blue cheese one for a unique experience and was pleasantly surprised. Only downside is the wait time, took quite a while as everyone wanted a burger fix.
very nice burger, and fair price, but it is a long wait when busy, and not much sit for customers to eat there as well, recommend make an order online or by phone, and go pick up, will save you a lot of time :)
Double cheeseburger with brie cheese and Gorgonzola very good price ... a little salty.
Trying my first Brodburger in Kingston today. Great location near the foreshore, delicious meaty portions and the perfect french fry. Meals average $15-20 for the most famous burger in Canberra. A must try!
Great food, main issue is how ridiculous the waiting times are. Even if you order ahead. Additionally, im yet to go with more than 4 people without them messing up someones orders in some way or another.
I love Brodburger. Have been visiting them since they were a red caravan. I recommend everyone that comes to Canberra to go and try this place. Great list of beers. I recommend the HopHog.
The burgers are good but only if you order in advance. You can expect a long wait if you just order at the counter. Other restaurants chew out just as much as here so not really any excuse
Wait too long, Hamburg need one hour less waiting time. Hamburg itself is nothing special, very disappointed.
Fantastic food. Fresh good quality ingredients. A bit of a wait but good food takes time to cook. If you have limited time call and order in advance. You will not be disappointed.
